Michael
Adopted by Able
Matsumoto and named after his deceased son, Michael Matsumoto. He often
listened to Able's tales of monsters but never believed them to be real. After
his death, he was adopted by Able's daughter Katrina and now lives with her
family. After entering high school his world was turned upside down when a
group of his school mates unveil that they are monster exorcists, and so were
his adopted grandfather and older brother. Michael desires nothing note than to
join them and lead a more exciting life than the average high school student.
Michael's adopted
older sister. Even though they aren't related by blood, Katrina treats Michael
like he's her real younger brother. She is also married to a company worker
called Steve and has a daughter named Sophie.
Michael's teacher
and fellow monster exorcist. He is strict and forces Michael to write
assignments and study. He enjoys being a teacher, but often resents not being
picked to do a more stimulating job within the exorcist organization.
Annie Song
Fellow exorcist
and classmate of Michael's. She is kind and encouraging and Michael has a big
crush on her.
Isaac
Michaels
classmate, Annie's childhood friend and maybe even her love interest. He posses
extraordinary spiritual powers and intelligence and is referred to as a genius
by his peers. Michael resents him and the two become rivals.
Annie's older
brother and leader of the exorcist group. He enjoys being an exorcist and loves
taking pictures of monsters on his cell phone.
Kurt
The largest kid
at Michael's high school. He resents being an exorcist and often runs away and
takes his anger out on his friends.
Laurence
His father is a
doctor and he often helps heal his friends. Although kind and helpful, Laurence
does not possess very good social skills and is often bullied by Kurt.
Nina
A girl with a
strange resemblance to Katrina. She is serious and studious, but lacks the
heart for killing things and lags behind her fellow exorcists. She gets along
with everyone but Katie.
Katie
A third year with
bleached blonde hair and an attitude problem. She is a capable exorcist, but
doesn't get along well with others.
